- First Contact Group -
1st contact is a brief treatment program designed for adolescent substance users consisting of four sessions. The
program can be a “first step” for youth with substance abuse problems, fostering motivation for change before
addressing more specialized or long term needs.

Opening Doors - The Opening Doors program is a social skills/early intervention program for grade 9
students who may be at risk of developing problems related to alcohol or other drug
use, dropping out of school, low school achievement, and violence or other anti-social
behaviour.
- Youth Addiction Education Program
- The YAE program is a motivational, non-threatening, community education and treatment program
consisting of thirteen sessions. The clinical objective is to provide education and accurate
information in a neutral manner, to motivate clients toward self - evaluation, consideration to change
and to encourage youth in making educated decisions regarding drug and alcohol
use.

Wellness Group - Sponsored by the Pavilion Family Resource Centre and Timiskaming Substance Abuse Service.
