Beach Closures

THE FOLLOWING BEACHES ARE CLOSED TO SWIMMING ACTIVITIES DUE TO UNSAFE BACTERIAL LEVELS. August 26, 2010 - New Liskeard Beach (Re-opened September 2, 2010) July 8, 2010 - New Liskeard Beach (Re-opened July 10, 2010) Several tests for bacteria show that current values are above safe levels for swimming. The public is asked not to play or swim in the water until further testing shows that bacterial levels have returned to a safe level.
