The Smoke-Free Ontario High School Grant Program offers high schools the opportunity to apply for $1,000 to organize a student lead/teacher supported tobacco awareness activity. The Timiskaming Health Unit awards the grants at the beginning of each school year, and is available for support throughout the year. There is one grant awarded per high school, and the money can be used for a variety of tobacco related activities.
