Sewage System & Property Development

The Timiskaming Health Unit enforces the provisions of the Building Code Act as they relate to sewage systems. The Code and Guide for Sewage Systems governs the design, construction, operation and maintenance of various classifications of sewage systems located within properties.

Whether you are building, repairing, or changing a sewage system, you will need to apply for a permit.
