They translate scientific research about nutrition into practical solutions for individuals, families, and organizations. You can find dietitians working in hospitals, long-term care homes, public health units, family health teams, and in private practice to name a few.

If you are interested in meeting with a dietitian one-on-one, this is a service available to local Family Health Team and Community Health Centre clients. Dietitians can meet with clients to discuss a variety of nutrition topics such as: infant feeding, weight management, managing a condition such as diabetes, emotional eating, sports nutrition, and many more!
