Healthy bodies need to be active every day!

Active Living involves being physically active throughout your day. This means different things for different people, as fitness levels vary from person to person, but can involve a variety of activities including:

  • walking
  • running
  • cycling
  • playing sports
  • any other activity that gets your body moving and increases your heart rate and breathing

When you get active, remember to follow public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In general, it is safest to engage in fitness activities virtually or outdoors when possible. Public health measures include staying home if you are sick, physical distancing, handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes, and downloading the COVID-19 Alert app. For indoor physical activity, you should also show proof of vaccination and wear a mask or face covering in the facility, except when exercising.
