Who should get the flu shot?
Anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Ontario - 6 months of age or older.

Flu shots will not be given in schools. Please have your child immunized by your health care provider, pharmacist (for those 5 years and older), by attending a community clinic, or by calling the health unit.
Flumist is not available in Canada this year.
1) Unimmunized children may be excluded from child care if an outbreak of flu occurs.
2) For those 65 years and older, ask your health care provider or the health unit about the high dose flu vaccine. You can get this vaccine from your health care provider or the health unit.
